Microinsurance Key Performance Implementation Assistance

 

 

ADA, BRS and Cordaid provide enhanced support for the microinsurance key performance indicators by offering a KPI implementation assistance programme. Organisations are welcome to request this programme  for issues related to the implementation of the KPI’s.  Such a service is a natural addition to microfact.org, the performance indicators toolkit and existing training programme.

 

The scope of an KPI assistance assignment will be tailored to the specific needs of the microinsurer. Nevertheless, it is limited to issues related to the

  • ‘Input’ for the calculation of the KPI’s
    - Separation of data and cost allocation
    - Recovery of missing data
    - Identification of admitted assets
    - Integration with administrative processes     
     
  • Assistance with the creation of the ‘Output’ of the KPI’s

        - Microinsurance factsheet
        - Interpretation of KPI results

Based on the topics agreed between the receiving organisation and KPI Implementation team a work plan for a project visit will be defined, including preliminary work and follow-up process. Ideally this programme is limited to a one week on-site visit during which one or two financial specialists who guide the organisation through the implementation of the KPI’s participate. The programme would include a one day in house training on performance indicators for microinsurance and assistance with the above cited issues on capturing and calculating KPI’s. 


Organisations will be selected based on their need, openness to share and motivation to prepare, receive and follow-up an assignment.
