Financial Inclusion consultant with 31 years of global experience and lately AngloPhone Sub Saharan Africa; Master Trainer for four ILO courses

Petronella is the managing director of Mustard Seed Advisory, with more than 30 years in financial inclusion. She has worked in more than 32 countries, most of these in sub-Saharan Africa. She is currently managing four country projects in Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan and Uganda. Petronella is a Certified Gender Expert, Rural Finance Expert and has led project teams for FAO Zimbabwe. For 22 years, she was a Senior Faculty member of the Boulder Microfinance Training Programme; also a master trainer for the International Labour Organization, an accredited assessor for Risk Initiative in Microfinance(RIM), accredited SMART Assessor for Client Protection Principles and Microfact/Microvision Trainer. Petronella sits on the global Vision Fund board – a World Vision subsidiary. She has a master’s in business administration from the University of Liverpool.
